Marta Angelozzi was born in Rome, Italy. She graduated with a Drawing Degree at Camberwell College of Arts in London. At the moment she lives and works in Lisbon. Her artistic practice is based on drawing, lived as a transitory and unique action that changes over time and practice. A process that results in a constant search for a language of her own, stemming from a curiosity for gesture, which manifests itself in constant movement and change. Her drawing process permeates photography, installation, video, dance and performance.
In December 2022 she completed her Masters in Art Education - Plastic Arts in Education, at Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa, with the research project: "Drawing as artistic and educational practice in non-formal contexts".
Expanded drawings are drawings that exist as installations or interventions in space and on bodies, that are then photographed.
Drawings on paper are drawings made on paper of different sizes and with different materials.
Collaborative drawing involves the action of drawing with other people. An investigation of the act of drawing as a collaborative practice.
